The BBE Entrance Exam consists of 3 different parts, so, you guessed it, our course is based on 3 parts, as listed below, with a special regard to Mathematics.
The course is basically 75% mathematics, which is essential for the BBE Entrance Exam. We will go through all 13 topics of the WU Syllabus for the Admission, each module having lessons, exercises, solutions, explanations, videos, and exams.
Business & Economics encompass approximately 20% of the course, as most information is found in the book provided by WU, through which we will, of course, go through. Each lesson comes with tailored exercises, problems, solutions, and exams
The English part makes up for 5% of the course, because if you are taking a test for maths and economics in English, you are already expected to have a good level of fluency, but we will still practice with grammar, vocabulary, and reading exercises, and exams.
A more thorough description of the course contents is depicted below. Please contact me if you need more information.
WHAT WILL WE LEARN ABOUT?
First of all, you will go through an Initial Exam for each part, and an Initial Full Exam, just so you would assess your level, and compare with the results at the end of the course. Then, you will start with the learning process, which is very well organised (you will se on the platform).
In this course, we will cover all 3 parts of the BBE Entrance Exam, with a special regard to Maths, some about Business & Economics (everything is in the book, we will do some sample exercises), and English (some questions to get you familiarised with the structure).
As per the WU Website, the Math topics you should know about, and which we will cover are the following:
Logic
Elementary algebra
Elementary financial mathematics
Equations
Linear equations in two unknowns
Inequalities
Linear and quadratic functions
Power functions
Polynomial functions
Exponential and logarithmic functions
Differentiation and single variable optimization
Elementary probability
Binomial distribution
So, this is what we will cover in this course, all 13 math topics, each coming with explanations (theory), multiple-choice questions, solutions, videos, and, of course, exam-like exercises to get your practice, which is the most important.
For Business & Economics, we will talk about things like trade, price elasticities, balance sheets and reading them, liquidity, working capital, cash flow, profits vs taxes, inflation, poverty, pollution, climate change, fixed and variable costs, marketing, free markets, competition etc. This part has 1 module, with various lessons + quizzes for the theory learned.
For English, you will familiarise yourself with the kind of questions asked, often reading + grammar, sometimes vocabulary, and you will test your level for the entrance exam. Here you will get practice exercises, and a final English Exam.
Let’s START, shall we?
